Joanna Hunt Nunez has an infectious passion for helping women see their value and God-given beauty. In the same way a song touches the soul, she believes that beauty is about the experience people have when they are around you. Joanna is a part of Lakewood Church Women's Ministry Team and speaks at Women's conferences and events throughout the year. Professionally, she has consulted several successful companies and has written and developed marketing and advertising strategies that have provided them with excellent results. Recently, her talent and efforts were acknowledged in the opening pages of "Love your Life" written by Pastor Victoria Osteen. Joanna is a writer who also enjoys commercial acting and modeling.
Ivette Michelle Masters Morris Colvin was born the second child of Cicero and Ivie Masters Morris in Houston, TX. Their Ivette received her primary education from Corpus Christi Catholic School and secondary education within the Houston Independent School District. She graduated from Mirabeau B. Lamar Business Magnet High School. She furthered her education and was awarded a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Speech Communications from Sam Houston State University. She also has certification in Career and Technology Education and Educational Counseling from Prairie View A&M University, and received her Masters of Education degree in Counseling from Prairie A&M University as well. In addition, Ivette is married to her version of God's Boaz, Marcus L. Colvin.
Ivette has been a part of the leadership team of various organizations. She has held offices within the NAACP, Student Government Association, Windsor Village United Methodist Church Youth Ministries, Rho Omicron Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha, and the Criminal Justice Educators of Texas. Of these positions, she is most proud of serving the student body of Sam Houston State University as their first African American female Student Body President. In addition, she has been named within Who's Who Among American Student's, Who's Who Among American Teachers and is a member of Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Honor Society.
Over the last fifteen years Colvin has been employed by North Forest Independent School District as the Coordinator of the Pre-Magnet Criminal Justice Program and as a Teacher.
She was called to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ while serving the youth of Windsor Village United Methodist Church. She is presently a member of Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church and was licensed to preach while serving the Lord within the congregation of Wheeler Avenue. She is currently a member of the Clergy Team, Marriage Ministry and Prayer Ministry.
